ASSOCIATIONS AT THE HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL :
Competitions are conducted in Tamil and English literary Association and Prizes are distributed to the winners in the annual day function. NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME The NSS with 50 volunteers run effectively in our school. 50 students in the Higher secondary level are selected and admitted in the scheme. Every year the special Camp is held at a village to create the service motive among the students and the people. Our School NSS program officer is Tru.N.Sivanathan. NATIONAL CADET CORPS NCC was started in our school in the month on July 2008. Our School NCC Troop No.:206/1. Now, we are having 100 cadets in our Troop. Our School NCC Troop is commanded by the Troop Commander Third Officer K.Mohanraj. Every year our cadets participate in the various Training Camp held in Various Levels. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. The motto of NCC is Unity & Discipline. NATIONAL GREEN CORPS The National Green Corps was started in our school in 2002 with 25 students. Every year 25 students of eighth standard are admitted in the club. The Corps are planting 1500 tree saplings every year and they create awareness about the welfare of nature and its protection among the students. Our School NGC program officer is Tru.S.Navaneethan. JRC Junior Red Cross comes under the Erode branch of Indian Red Cross society. The JRC in our school has 75 juniors with a counselor. Our School JRC co-coordinator Tru.P.Sivanandam lead the unit. SCOUT The Scout Movement in our school is a registered club in the District Association of Bharat Scout and Guides. It has 30 Scouts guided by a fully qualified Scout Captain. The Scout Movement aims at the social development of young people. NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION Our students attend the National Talent Search Examination every year and come with a flying colours in it. NMMS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME The students of our school are provided with the NMMS Scholarship Scheme. |
